Free Healthy Recipe - Thai Fish Cakes

Dairy free

These make excellent finger food.

Ingredients
½ tbsp rice syrup
3 tins crab meat
1 egg
½ bunch coriander, fresh, chopped
4 spring onions chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp fish sauce
1 red chilli finely chopped
2 tsp ginger, grated
2 tsp salt

Sauce:
¼ cup water
2 spring onions chopped
¼ bunch coriander, fresh, chopped
Method

Boil buckwheat noodles in salted water until cooked. Drain and rinse thoroughly. Chop coarsely.

Combine all ingredients well. Form golf ball sized patties, place patties on a plate and refrigerate until cold.

Shallow fry in olive oil until golden.

To make sauce:
Combine all ingredients and mix well.

Cooked cakes can be refrigerated and reheated in an oven.
