Worldwide, there are more people who drink goats milk than any other milk. For people with an intolerance to the protein in cows milk, goat's milk may be better tolerated. Goat's milk also contains less fat, allergens, lactose and milk sugar. It is therefore well suited to infants and the elderly. It's characteristic smell can be mildly offputting. Because of its stronger flavour it makes delicious cheese and yoghurt.
